Inauguration of OMTES Website (www.omtes.org)
 The Department of ST & SC Development, Govt. of Odisha, is pleased to launch the Website of Odisha Model Tribal Education Society on 6th July 2011 in the Conference Hall of the Department. The is inaugurated by Shri Santosh Sarangi, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, ST & SC Development Department and Chairman, OMTES in the presence of Shri SK Chadha, IFS, Additional Secretary to Department and Secretary, OMTES, other officials and Managing Director, Director of Luminous Infoways, Bhubaneswar.
The Website of OMTES is intended to provide comprehensive information on aims and activities taken up by OMTES with the support of ST&SC Development Department. The Website displays information on the society, schemes, announcements, Tenders, Photo Gallery and provides an interface to the citizens to give feedback. The citizen can see information on each Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in Odisha. This information will be periodically updated by the Department to give a transparent picture of these Tribals schools.
This website also aims to be a single point to provide more citizen centric information and applications on the objectives of the society. |
