Participation in Dist & State Level Competitions.
In Year 2009-10 and 2011-12 many talented Girls of the institution participated in the state level Song competition in folk song category held in Sambalpur. Every year students participate in District level cultural activities /competitions.
Wall Magazine
A wall magazine entitled “Jhanjabati” was inaugurated by the collector-cum-District Magistrate; Rayagada in 2008.It contains the art and writings of the students and staff members.
Human Rights Activities
It’s the pride of the institution to introduce “Human Rights Education” in class VI & VII from the Academic session 2008-09. The Human Rights Day is celebrated in the school premises every year with the Dist. Level dignitaries to make the children aware of their rights. It was the privilege of two children form class VI along with the Human rights teacher to participate in National level conference of Human rights 2010, orginised by IHRE, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
The School has received the Best Principal Award and best Student Award in 2010 from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha.

Achievement
- Students Participated in the “NUA MANA NUA SAPANA” cultural Talent search program of Rayagada Police held at J.K.Pur and won Cash awards in Dance Programme.
- Dillip Himirika, a student of Class-IX stood First in the “Elocution Competition”, Organized by J. K. Pur mills during the session12-13.
- Amresh Tangarnaga Stood 3rd in the “District Level Poster Making Competition-2013”.
- Sanghamitra Majhi Class-X got First Prize in the “Spiritual Test Program of Yoga Nirman Yojana” in 2013.
- Neelanchal Sabar, being the Highest Scored in AHSC Exam-2013 was awarded by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha in Jaydev Bhaban, BBSR on 05-09-13.
